CEO Patricia Davies has a very distinctive and highly regarded school improvement background thanks to her time as the executive head teacher at both Chingford Hall and Whittingham schools. Pat has brought Chingford Hall from inadequate to outstanding and Whittingham from special measures in June 2011 to good in their May 2012 Ofsted inspection.
Pat has also won awards for being ‘National Head Teacher of the Year 2011/12’ and is also a National Leader of Education (NLE).
When Pat joined Chingford Hall in September 2007, the school was in special measures and achieved the low end of a satisfactory grade in the autumn term. Pat has had to mentor and coach teachers and recruit staff and develop a team to provide pupils with the best education possible in an area of high deprivation. This has resulted in Chingford Hall being graded as an outstanding school by Ofsted since 2010.
Pat became the executive head teacher of Whittingham Primary in June 2011 where she has worked tirelessly to improve the school and its teachers, both graded as inadequate, to good/outstanding within 12 months of her arrival.
